The type of personal information we collect
Midi2Vidi collects and processes MIDI files that may contain text in fields known within the MIDI Standard as Meta-Events. Meta-Events containing text are used to store data in MIDI files such as track names, copyright notices, instrument names and lyrics, but may also store arbitrary text including personal information.
How we get your personal information and why we collect it
MIDI files are uploaded by users for processing into videos from the main page at https://midi2vidi.com. Personal information may be knowingly or inadvertently included within uploaded MIDI files. Text from meta-events, including personal information, is not extracted by Midi2Vidi since this data is not required to generate our videos.
How we store your personal information
MIDI files that may contain personal information are stored securely on AWS servers, and all files uploaded or generated during processing are automatically deleted within 2 days.
